On the Ultimate Monster Truck driving day you will be able to get behind the wheel of a Land Rover 90, a Euro Spec Monster Truck, a 4×4 buggy and the US Spec Monster Truck “Grizzly” . Whilst driving each vehicle you will have an instructor by your side able to offer tips and advice on how to maximise the enjoyment of your driving day.

The day will begin with a safety talk back at the base where you will familiarise yourself with the vehicles you will be driving. You will then jump in the Land Rover 90 which you will take over the jungle course! Next up you will get your hands on “Black Ice” the Euro Spec Monster Truck to whet your appetite for its bigger “Grizzlier” brother. For a change of scene, your next vehicle is a 4×4 buggy which if you are feeling brave you can roll over. Finally, you will drive the US Spec Monster Truck “Grizzly” and as a bonus you will get to drive over two saloon cars and crush them under the massive 66inch monster truck tyres. Truly an experience not to be missed.

Guidelines for participants

You do not need to have a driving licence but you must be able to drive a manual gearbox vehicle.

Euro Spec Monster Truck Experience

On the Euro Spec Monster Truck driving day you will be able to get behind the wheel of a stacked up 4×4 jeep, a Land Rover 90 and a Euro Spec Monster Truck. Whilst driving each vehicle you will have an instructor by your side able to offer tips and advice on how to maximise the enjoyment of your driving day.

The day will begin with a safety talk back at the base where you will familiarise yourself with the vehicles you will be driving. You will then jump in the jeep and take off down the valley with your instructor to learn some off-roading skills. Next up is the Land Rover 90 which you will take over the jungle course! Finally, you will get your hands on “Black Ice” the Euro Spec Monster Truck and take it for a spin!

You do not need to have a driving licence but you must be able to drive a manual gearbox vehicle.

Ground Munching Monster Truck Day

The ground munching monster truck experience will see you driving a British spec monster truck, a full size American spec monster truck and a Kubota earth mover all in the same day.

Your day will begin with a safety talk and then you are free to begin the fun. First up is the British spec monster truck which you will take over a purpose built off-road course. Next up is the US spec monster truck. This is the type of monster truck that you will probably have seen on TV – now you can drive one yourself over bumps, slopes, water, and mud. Your final vehicle is the unbelievably fun Kubota earth mover. Come on now, how often can you say you’ve driven an earth mover? Never? Ok, here’s your chance.

Guidlines for participants

The minimum age for drivers is 18 years old.
You do not need to have a driving licence but you must be able to drive a manual gearbox vehicle.
Drivers who are over two metres tall or weighing over 20 stones may not be able to be accommodated in all the vehicles.

This monster truck driving experience will not go ahead in extreme weather conditions so please check with the centre beforehand.

Spectators

Up to two spectators per driver are welcome to view the activity. However, please note that there is no indoor viewing area and the site is not very suitable for young children.

Wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting muddy and flat soled shoes as the ground maybe wet in patches.

Monster Truck Thrill

Length of activity 1 hour.

You will be driving “Grizzly”, a full size US spec 7.5 litre monster truck. There is no other feeling on earth similar to that of driving a full size monster truck!

After a briefing at the venue and introduction to the monster truck you will get into the cab (by stepladder) and start your monster truck driving by taking the truck for a warm up lap. You will then attempt to reverse the beast into a coned garage and then continue on with another practice lap or two.

Once you have finished your laps you get to move onto the main event – start crushing cars! That right, you’ll be able to drive over two police saloon cars and crush them with the 66 inch monster truck wheels. At the end you’ll receive a laminated certificate with a photo to remind you of the experience.

Guidelines for participants

The experience is suitable for particpants that are aged 18 years and over.

It is not necessary to have a driving licence, but it is important to be a confident driver.

Weather

Driving could be cancelled in extreme weather conditions which would make it dangerous. If you aren’t sure, please call the venue beforehand. If it is raining, and extra amount of mud could make the experience that more exhilirating!

A maximum of 2 spectators can be brought along. There is no indoor viewing area and the site is not suitable for yound children.

The maxi monster truck experience will see you driving a Big Jeep, a British spec monster truck, an off-road buggy and the full size American spec monster truck all in the same day.

Your day will begin with a safety talk and then you are free to begin the fun. First up is the Big Jeep which you will drive around a high view track. Then you will jump in a British spec monster truck and tackle a purpose built off-road course. Next up is the off-road buggy. You will be driving over bumps, slides and steep inclines as well as a sideways rollover! Finally, the pinnacle of the day is when you’ll take the wheel of the US spec monster truck. This is the type of monster truck that you will probably have seen on TV – now you can drive one yourself and even drive over a couple of saloon cars. This is an experience not to be missed.
